The LP-380U offers 30 rich, dynamic instrument sounds (five acoustic pianos) that are enjoyable to play. Korg's flagship 88-key RH3 (Real Weighted Hammer Action 3) keyboard reproduces the same playing experience as that of a grand piano, with heavier response in the lower register that becomes lighter as you play upward.
The onboard speaker system features two, high-output amplifiers, which reproduce a realistic piano sound with deep overtones and controllable volume. USB audio connectivity allows you to use the speakers to play music from a smartphone or tablet (iOS), suitable for both play along or background music when entertaining. Two headphone jacks are provided for quiet practice, alone or with a partner.
Educational tools abound to help you learn piano. The built-in metronome promotes accurate timing. The USB MIDI support lets you capture your performances as MIDI data on your smartphone/tablet (iOS), enabling you to evaluate your progress. Partner Mode divides the keyboard into left and right regions, making it easy for students and teachers to play side by side, or to play with a duet partner.
